Homework for the Week of Feb 6-10

Dear Families, We ended up taking more time in Chapter 4 than we originally anticipated so this week we’ll wrap up Chapter 4 in math— Using Bar Models for Addition and Subtraction. The children will take the chapter test and as always, I’ll send it home for you to look over, sign, and return. We started a new comprehension strategy this week: questioning. We’ll work on both asking questions to clarify understanding, as well as answering questions to demonstrate comprehension. To reinforce this strategy, there’s a new back to the reading log.
