Homework for the Week of January 30-February 3

Posted in Weekly Homework | No Comments »

Don’t forget to read each night!

Dear Families,

This week we’ll wrap up Chapter 4 in math— Using Bar Models for Addition and Subtraction.  The children will take the chapter test and as always, I’ll send it home for you to look over, sign, and return. We’re going to start moving a bit faster in math than we did in the start of the school year.  As a result, homework might be sent home more frequently than it was in the first semester.

This is the last week with our retelling reading log response.  Next week we’ll start a new comprehension strategy—questioning.  We’ll send a model home that we completed together in class.

As always, please contact me with any questions or concerns! Thanks for all you do!

Sincerely, Miss Bottonari
