On behalf of Chris Powell, Director of Applied Sciences and Technology of D219, please find attached our Summer Sizzling Engineering Camp flyer. The camp has been very successful and has more than doubled in enrollment since 2008-09. It is offered to students who are entering grade, four, five, six, seven or eight during the upcoming school year. This hands-on camp is based on the successful pre-engineering program of Project Lead the Way (PLTW). It is a wonderful opportunity for students to work together and experience a fun, exciting environment using leading-edge technologies in robotics, electronics, computer design and more.
