About Ms. Kim (Olympian)
Hello! I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I received my teaching certificate with an endorsement in biological sciences at National Louis University. I have worked in the corporate world for the majority of my adult life before becoming a teacher. However, I have a great love of the sciences as well as teaching. So, I hope that my students are able to adopt the same kind of excitement and enthusiasm that I hope to portray in my classroom as we learn, explore, and discover together this year. Before coming to OOJH, I taught high school biology in the northwest suburbs of Illinois. I am thrilled to be teaching in the town that I grew up in for almost 17 years of my life! I can attest to what a great community this is, an awesome district we are a part of, and a successful school the students are attending. I look forward to a memorable school year with both the parents/guardians and the students.
